This series consists of photostats of typescripts prepared by Anne King Gregorie, State Director of the Works Progress Administration, Historical Records Survey in an attempt to abstract entries from the minute books and case papers of the Court of Chancery dated 1721-1784. Information generally includes abstracts of cases, orders and decrees (decisions or judgments) and opinions. Causes at issue are primarily the settlement and management of estates as well as cases involving guardianship, bankruptcy, trusts, the mentally ill, and fraud.
